Anecdotally I have been told he won running races & played a piano accordion and could dance like a cossack. Also do you know any connection with Lady Rowntree? I was so excited to find your transcripts of the Warren Farm records and wondered if you would be publishing any more from after December 2012. My grandfather's name was George Thomas Shepherd, and I have been unable to find much out about his childhood. Thanks so much!
